“This year is quickly shaping up to be the biggest in the history of our promotion, and we’re excited to announce our second event of 2025 and a return to
The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas,” Tuff-N-Uff CEO Jeff Meyer said. “Jamie Siraj had an incredible title win in December in one of the best Tuff-N-Uff
fights of the year, and he’s looking to make a quick turnaround and earn himself a UFC contract, but Diego Brandao knows exactly what it takes to
compete at the sport’s highest level and is excited to compete again in Las Vegas after traveling the globe for the past several years. It’s going to be a
spectacular main event, and the entire card is shaping up to be something special.
“We’ll have additional announcement for Tuff-N-Uff 142 very soon, so get your tickets now for what is going to be another spectacular night of action in
the Fight Capital of the World.”
Siraj claimed the Tuff-N-Uff featherweight belt with a thrilling fifth-round TKO win over BRAVE CF champion Nemat Abdrashitov in December. The result
marked Siraj’s ninth straight victory, dating back to 2017. That success, coupled with an incredible story of overcoming a life-threatening illness to
continue his MMA career, has Siraj on the verge of a UFC contract offer, and he’s hoping another impressive win in front of UFC execs will seal the deal.
Meanwhile, Brazil’s Brandao made his way to the UFC in 2011 after scoring three-straight first-round knockouts on “The Ultimate Fighter 14” to take home the tournament title. He would go on to face iconic names like Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Brian Ortega before leaving the organization to
compete in Japan, Russia, Dagestan, Poland and Kazakhstan, among others. He now returns to fight in Las Vegas for the first time since 2016 and is
hoping to earn a return trip to the octagon for one final UFC run.
KSNV Sports anchor Bryan Salmond calls the action at Tuff-N-Uff 142 alongside “The Ultimate Fighter 29” cast member and former Tuff-N-Uff amateur
welterweight champion Ryder “Rhino” Newman. Dana White’s Contender Series, UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational and Power Slap veteran Justin Bernard
serves as in-cage announcer.
