Tuff-N-Uff debuts in San Diego on Thursday, May 22 with Tsogookhuu Amarsanaa vs. Antonio Caruso
Tickets on sale now for Tuff-N-Uff 144 at The Observatory North Park, launching California expansion
LAS VEGAS – Tuff-N-Uff officials are excited to confirm the organization’s debut in “America’s Finest City” with “Tuff-N-Uff 144: Amarsanaa vs. Caruso,” which takes place Thursday, May 22 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, California. The night’s lightweight headliner features a pair of international talents, as Mongolia’s Tsogookhuu “The Mongol” Amarsanaa (10-3) takes on Australia’s Antonio “The Spartan” Caruso (10-2).
Additional contests already confirmed for Tuff-N-Uff 144 include a middleweight matchup between viral sensation Joel “King Bau” Bauman (7-3) and UFC, Strikeforce and World Series of Fighting veteran Jesse “JT Money” Taylor (33-17), as well as San Diego’s own Angel “Superman” Ramirez (2-2) vs. Brazil’s Luis “Blackzilian” Conde-Navarro (1-3).

The Tuff-N-Uff 144 main card streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS, while preliminary bouts will stream live on the Tuff-N-Uff YouTube channel.
“This incredibly historic year for our organization now features another amazing milestone with our first event in San Diego, kicking off a major expansion into California for Tuff-N-Uff that will see us host a number of events in the market, including additional dates in San Diego, as well as Los Angeles,” Tuff-N-Uff CEO Jeff Meyer said. “We’ve established our reputation with decades of incredible fight cards in Las Vegas, and I’m very excited to be able to get on the road and bring our promotion to the fantastic fans of California, as well, and this will be an incredible main event to kick off those efforts.”
Amarsanaa returns to the Tuff-N-Uff cage for the second time, scoring a first-round stoppage in his promotional debut over Xtreme Couture standout and five-time UFC veteran Justin Jaynes. “The Mongol” carries a three-fight win streak overall, a run that also includes a win over nine-time UFC veteran Steven Siler.
Meanwhile, Caruso makes his Tuff-N-Uff debut following previous appearances with the Professional Fighters League and ONE Championship. While “The Spartan” owns five career MMA victories by submission, he also boasts eight professional boxing appearances, including a second-round knockout in March in his native Australia.
KSNV Sports anchor Bryan Salmond calls the action at Tuff-N-Uff 144 alongside “The Ultimate Fighter 29” cast member and former Tuff-N-Uff amateur welterweight champion Ryder “Rhino” Newman. Dana White’s Contender Series, UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational and Power Slap veteran Justin Bernard serves as in-cage announcer.
