Thursday, May 22, 2025 | The Observatory North Park, San Diego, CA
Tuff-N-Uff made its debut in San Diego with Tuff-N-Uff 144: Amarsanaa vs. Abad, a groundbreaking event launching the promotion’s expansion into California! Top international MMA talents collided in an action-packed night at The Observatory North Park.
Post-event Recap:
Main Event: Lightweight Showdown
Coming in on a three-fight win streak, Tsogookhuu “The Mongol” Amarsanaa (10-3) returned to Tuff-N-Uff to face Cesar Abad (8-1), a young, hungry striker with seven finishes in eight wins. Amarsanaa brought the momentum from his Tuff-N-Uff 137 first-round TKO win versus Justin Jaynes (17-11) as Abad made his Tuff-N-Uff debut after a UWC 55 first-round TKO win versus Jesús Martinez (5-8).
Co-Main Event
Viral influencer Joel “King Bau” Bauman (7-2) squared off against UFC, Strikeforce, and World Series of Fighting veteran Jesse “JT Money” Taylor (33-17) in our middleweight co-main event. Bauman came into Tuff-N-Uff 144 on a 2023 MMA Bare Knuckle split decision loss, while MMA legend Taylor aimed to move past his championship-defending loss from 2023’s BFL 76: Canada vs. USA.
