Tuff-N-Uff closes out UFC International Fight Week on Sunday, June 29 at SAHARA Las Vegas

Tuff-N-Uff officials are excited to reveal that the promotion will close out UFC International Fight Week 2025 on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip with a special matinee presentation on Sunday, June 29, for “Tuff-N-Uff 145: Brandao vs. Kawaihae” from the legendary SAHARA Theatre at SAHARA Las Vegas.

Kicking off at a special local start time of 11 a.m. PT, Tuff-N-Uff 145’s main event sees reigning featherweight champion Diego “DB” Brandao (30-22) seeking the first defense of his title when he takes on two-time Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Canaan Kawaihae (10-2). Meanwhile, the afternoon’s co-main event sees former Tuff-N-Uff featherweight champion Jamie “The Gremlin” Siraj (12-3) look to get back into the win column as he takes on gritty Peruvian veteran Marlon “Fortaleza” Gonzales (15-7-2).

Additional contests already confirmed for Tuff-N-Uff 145 include nine-time Bellator MMA veteran Tywan “Air” Claxton (8-3) seeking his third straight win under the Tuff-N-Uff banner when he takes on undefeated featherweight prospect Tyshawn Williams (7-0), as well as a welterweight clash between PFL and BKFC veteran Zach “The Juice” Juusola (14-9) and Brazil’s Edmilson “Amazonian Warrior” Freitas (10-7-1). Meanwhile, a special featured matchup sees multiple-time IBJJF world champion and four-time UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational winner Renato Canuto make his MMA debut when he takes on former Tuff-N-Uff amateur champion Caleb “The Carrot” Contreras (1-2) in a lightweight contest.

Former Tuff-N-Uff amateur double champion Miguel “Sauvecito” Sauvo (1-0) and undefeated submission ace Eduardo “Duda” Penha (6-0) are also both expected to compete at Tuff-N-Uff 145 against opponents that will be named shortly.

The Tuff-N-Uff 145 main card streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS, while preliminary bouts will stream live on the Tuff-N-Uff YouTube channel.

Amarsanaa returns to the Tuff-N-Uff cage for the second time after scoring a first-round stoppage in his promotional debut over Xtreme Couture standout and five-time UFC veteran Justin Jaynes. “The Mongol” carries a three-fight win streak overall, a run that also includes a win over nine-time UFC veteran Steven Siler.

Meanwhile, Entram Gym’s Abad makes his promotional debut as competes in the United States for the first time. Currently riding a three-fight winning streak – with all three wins coming by way of knockout – Abad has made a name for himself on the Latin American regional scene with appearances in his native Ecuador, as well as Chile, Mexico and Peru.

KSNV Sports anchor Bryan Salmond calls the action at Tuff-N-Uff 144 alongside “The Ultimate Fighter 29” cast member and former Tuff-N-Uff amateur welterweight champion Ryder “Rhino” Newman, as well as UFC, Bellator MMA and World Series of Fighting veteran Justin “Guitar Hero” Jaynes. Dana White’s Contender Series, UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational and Power Slap veteran Justin Bernard serves as in-cage announcer.
